By downloading or using the FareBuddy app (“App”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
If you do not agree, please uninstall the App and do not use our services.

FareBuddy Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”) may update these Terms periodically. The latest version will always appear on our website. Continued use of the App means you accept any changes.

FareBuddy is a companion tool for professional ride-hailing drivers.
It provides non-intrusive, on-screen indicators and analytics designed to help drivers assess potential trip profitability.

FareBuddy does not:

Accept or reject rides on your behalf.

Modify, automate, or interfere with any ride-hailing platform.

Guarantee income or job availability.

The App is for informational purposes only. You remain solely responsible for all driving, business, and income decisions.

3. Eligibility

FareBuddy is available to anyone, but you must have access to a valid ride-hailing or private-hire driver account in order to use it effectively.

Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of FareBuddy complies with local driving customs, licensing requirements, and laws applicable in their region or jurisdiction.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Use the App only for lawful purposes.

Not copy, reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute any part of the App.

Ensure your device meets the App’s technical requirements.

Comply with the terms of any third-party driver platform you use.

5. Permissions and Device Access

The App uses Android Accessibility Service and Overlay permissions solely to read visible on-screen ride request data and display coloured indicators.
These permissions are used only while you are online as a driver and remain under your control.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

FareBuddy may offer paid plans through Google Play Billing (e.g., 30-day free trial then £6.99/month).
All payments, renewals, and cancellations are managed by Google Play Store.
We do not store or process payment data ourselves.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FareBuddy Ltd is not liable for:

Any loss of income, profit, opportunity, or reputation.

Decisions you make based on FareBuddy indicators or analytics.

Errors, bugs, or data inaccuracies caused by third-party apps or networks.

The App is provided “as is” without any warranty of accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
